Huble Opens in Australia | Rod Moynihan Appointed GM

4 min read

Matthew

Huble has appointed Rod Moynihan as General Manager of Huble Australia, putting a local team on the ground for the first time.

After years of supporting Australian organisations remotely, the move brings local leadership to a market where clients have increasingly asked for people in their own time zone, backed by the same global delivery model Huble runs everywhere else.

From remote support to local presence

Huble has worked with Australian organisations for a number of years. That relationship has been remote; useful, but with limits. As those clients have grown, more of them have needed people on the ground rather than a time zone that happens to be accommodated.

Establishing a local presence is Huble’s response to demand that already existed, not a speculative bet on a new market.

In other words: this is not new coverage. It is a change in how existing coverage is delivered, with local relationships closer to the work.

“Huble’s clients in Australia have been supported remotely for years. That relationship has worked, but there’s a limit to what remote support can offer businesses that expect the same standard everywhere. Rod’s appointment means our Australian clients now get local leadership, backed by the same global capability we deliver everywhere else.”

— Rebecca Harris, CEO, Huble

Who is Rod Moynihan?

Rod brings more than twenty years of go-to-market leadership. He has operated within the HubSpot partner ecosystem and led a regional business for a global technology company as Managing Director, giving him direct experience on both sides of the relationship Huble is building in Australia.

His remit is to build and lead the local team that supports Australian clients day-to-day.

“I’ve operated on both sides of this relationship — as a HubSpot partner, and as someone leading a regional business for a global company. Huble already has strong relationships with Australian organisations. My role is to build the local team that supports them properly, day to day.”

— Rod Moynihan, General Manager, Huble Australia

What it means for Australian organisations

For Australian clients and prospects, the change is practical: local relationships and local accountability, without giving up the depth of Huble’s global delivery model.

The teams and capability behind the work are the same; the difference is having leadership in-market, in the same time zone, able to move at the pace the work needs.
