In this exclusive interview, Dan Tyre, HubSpot’s sales director, shares his top tips for salespeople conducting their first sales call.

Conducting your first connect call with a new prospect can be a little overwhelming – nerves might be running high or you might not even be sure of how to carry the conversation.

Regardless, it’s important to remember one simple thing: you are there to help the person on the other end of the line.

So start with confidence, tell them who you are, make sure to pause and let them say their piece!
