HubSpot email templates

Designing and building an email template from scratch can sometimes be a very painful exercise.
Not only do you have to ensure its responsive on laptops, tablets and mobile devices, you also need to ensure it works on different versions of Outlook, as well as cloud-based email services like Gmail, all of which requires a lot of testing to get right.

We live in a world where marketing departments across the globe need to be able to communicate swiftly with their prospects, and they cannot afford to spend hours building new email templates for new marketing campaigns which need to go live as soon as possible.

The thing is, people who work in marketing are extremely pressed for time.

On a day-to-day basis, marketing managers and executives are faced with ever-increasing to-do lists. They have a host of things to do – from writing blog content and building web pages to compiling website performance reports and keyword research. So when it comes to building email templates, some marketing departments avoid doing so until they can dedicate half a day to creating them, whereas others outsource email development to an expensive marketing agency.

But wouldn’t it be great if you could simply download pre-built email templates – templates that have been professionally developed and rigorously tested; are responsive on all devices (mobile, desktop, tablet); and work on all email platforms, including Gmail?

Well, if you’re a HubSpot user – you might want to check out the HubSpot Marketplace.

The HubSpot Marketplace is full of amazing email templates – both free and purchasable – that you can download directly to your HubSpot portal and use for your email marketing. These templates provide you with a much-needed foundation for email creation and you can edit and modify them as you wish.

But why is this useful? Well, you should have a number of different types of email for your marketing activity – from short and sweet ‘thank you’ emails to long-form newsletters – and each type of email should have its own template. For example, some emails might include imagery, such as newsletters, whereas others might have more complex module layouts to ensure everything in the email is displayed correctly.

What are HubSpot’s pre-built email templates?

HubSpot’s pre-built email templates are essentially downloadable templates or template packs that have all the modules built out already so you don’t have to. All you have to do is simply download the template and spend twenty minutes or so ensuring that your logo, brand colours and fonts are set up correctly before saving the template in HubSpot.

At this point, you can then use the template for any of your email marketing communication.

How can you download HubSpot’s pre-built email templates for free?

There are a number of free pre-built email templates on the HubSpot Marketplace that you can use if you have HubSpot Marketing Professional. Click on this link, change the product category to “Email” and change price to “Free”. After filtering the results, you should have all of the free email templates on the HubSpot Marketplace.

Find the one that best meets your business’ needs, click on it and then click “Get template for free” on the right-hand side of the page.

It’s that easy.

No more spending hours drafting emails only to receive no responses. Speed up the process with HubSpot’s pre-built email templates and utilise the email analytics to understand how your emails are actually performing and improve them based on live data.
