Demand or Lead Generation?

The most significant difference between demand generation vs. lead generation is that the conversion of information takes place at different stages of the sales funnel, and therefore affects how you create content and try and engage with your audience, but each has a place in specific scenarios.

Demand generation is an umbrella term for marketing efforts focused on long-term engagements with your brand. KPIs are not based around leads but rather marketing and sales engagement metrics such as website visits or new opportunities generated.
